Timothy A. Genske

Tim Genske has worked in retail real estate for over twenty years, since receiving his Masters Degree in Business in December 1985 from the University of Southern California.  His background encompasses working as both a developer and a broker during that period.  Tim joined Cypress Retail Group in April 2004 where he reunited with former colleagues from CB Commercial.

Prior to joining Cypress, Tim spent three years working for Halferty Development Company (HDC) as Vice President of Acquisitions, primarily pursuing grocery and drug store projects in the central valley of California, including working as a preferred developer for Rite Aid Drugs.

Prior to HDC, Tim worked for almost ten years at CBRE (Glendale, CA) where he reached the title of Vice President.  At CBRE, Tim exclusively represented both landlords and retailers.  Mr. Genske was involved in the inception of CBRE's tenant representation group where he exclusively represented several retailers including: Barnes & Noble Books, Hollywood Video and Boston Market.  Prior to leaving CBRE in 1998, Tim was the number one retail salesperson in the office his final two years.  In 1997, Tim finished in the top 10 nationwide, out of approximately 300 sales people across the country.
