Dave Binney

One of the Founding Partners of Cypress Retail Group, formed in June of 1995. Dave is a real estate salesman specializing in retail tenants and properties throughout South Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Dave exclusively represents many national retailers in their search for real estate, as well as representing Landlords on selected developments to market their sites. Since 2000 alone, Dave and his partner Scott Manclark and have completed in excess of 250 retail real estate transactions valued at more than $550 Million.

Tenants that are currently represented by Dave Binney in South Los Angeles County and/or Orange County include Dress Barn, Men’s Wearhouse and MW Tux, Orchard Supply Hardware, AMC Theatres and K & L Wine Merchants. Other tenants Dave has represented over the years include Blockbuster Video, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Corner Bakery Cafe, Pei Wei Asian Diner, Boston Market, Zany Brainy, Crown Books, and Trak Auto. Landlords that Dave has represented and/or completed transactions on behalf of include The Irvine Company, Donahue Schriber, The Taubman Company, Vestar Development, ICI Development, AEW Capital Management, Rich Development Company, The Macerich Company, Burnham Pacific, J.H. Snyder Company, Continental Development, Lewis Retail Centers, GMS Realty, Hopkins Real Estate Group, LNR Property Company, Eclipse Development and Castle & Cooke.

Dave was born in West Palm Beach, Florida and moved to Los Angeles with his parents at the age of 4. He grew up in Manhattan Beach and attended Chadwick High School in Palos Verdes. After graduating from the University of Arizona in 1989 with a B.S. in Business Administration, Dave returned home to Manhattan Beach and got his first job in real estate in 1990 at CB Commercial (now CB Richard Ellis). Dave is married and currently resides in Manhattan Beach with his wife, Petra.
