El Super Markets Expands to Include a Location in Highland Park, CA.

Friday, August 28^th, 2009, El Super Markets opened their 19^th store in Highland Park, CA.  El Super, started in 1997 is wholly owned by Bodega Latina, one of Mexico’s largest companies. Tim Genske of Cypress Retail Group represented the landlord, Robert L. Schwab, while Pat Gilhooly of The Clover Company represented the tenant.  Cypress aggressively marketed the property to many retailers as a rare urban opportunity.  As a result, six (6) retailers pursued negotiations, with El Super prevailing. 

The landlord who owns over 30 properties in 13 states commented:  “Tim has consistently provided us with stellar service in both leasing and sales transactions.”
