The project and all tenants are using the Calabasas-LEED Silver rating, setting standards for sustainable development. This new green shopping center is under construction at the southeast corner of the 101 Freeway and Lost Hills Road in Calabasas. The project will serve the affluent communities of Malibu, Westlake Village and Hidden Hills. Expected opening date for the 70,000-square-foot project is in the first quarter of 2010. Specialty health foods market Pacific Coast Greens will occupy a 14,000-square-foot space and offer organic produce, meats, seafood and freshly prepared foods. PC Greens will be the anchor tenant at “The Summit,” and joins Wolf Creek Restaurant and Brewing Co. and upscale Mexican restaurant Señor Fred’s.
